Interior of the 285-seat Allen J. Graham Auditorium |
Theatre Description: The Allen J. Graham Auditorium has 285 seats around a thrust stage with no seat farther than seven rows from the stage. Our theatre auditorium has been designed acoustically to accommodate both theatrical productions and musical concerts. For further information please consult our theatre layout page.
Handicap Seating Arrangements: There are four designated handicapped seats (A101-A103 and A102-A104). These seats are floor level with two options: 1) arm on seat raises for easy transfer from wheelchair to theatre seat, 2) seat can be taken out and wheelchair put in its place. There are no barriers between the handicapped parking spaces and auditorium seats.
Assisted Listening: Infrared assisted listening devices are available at the box office. The listening devices are lightweight, have individual volume controls, and can be used from any seat in the auditorium. Ticket holders may request units at our box office window, and guarantee their return after the performance by leaving a credit card or driver's license. Our sincere thanks to Mrs. Edith W. Brummer for providing this equipment to the theatre!

Reserved Seating: All seats in the theatre are reserved by row and seat number. Be certain that you are seated in the correct row because each row has the same numbering of seats.
Late Seating: Latecomers will be seated at specific intervals determined in advance by the director. Refunds will not be issued to latecomers. All unclaimed seating is released five (5) minutes prior to the beginning of the performance (unless you have called ahead for a late arrival). Should you arrive late and find that your seating has been released, you will be seated at the most convenient interval in the most accessible seats, if available.
Fire Exits: Patrons may exit through both front and rear entrances located in our lobby and office area and through the marked exit signs in the auditorium.
Emergency Contact During Performance: Please call the main theatre number at 864-233-6733 to reach someone in the audience of a performance.
Pagers/Cameras: Pagers, cell phones, cameras (photo or video), and tape recording equipment are not allowed in the auditorium. Please check any equipment of this type at our box office and pick it up as you leave the performance.
Smoking/Food/Drinks: By city ordinance, smoking is not allowed in the building. Containers are placed outside the entrance lobby and courtyard lobby doors for your convenience. No food is permitted in the auditorium.
Children: Children under the age of four will not be admitted out of consideration for other audience members and the cast.
